Named after the legendary fishing village on the Ligurian coast, it is the olfactory equivalent of a perfect afternoon in Portofino: the warmth of the sun on your skin, the salt of the sea in the air, the scent of orange blossom drifting from a nearby garden. It opens with a breathtaking, multi-faceted citrus accord of bergamot, mandarin orange, lemon, bitter orange, lavender, rosemary, and myrtle — seven top notes of extraordinary brightness and complexity that together create the most vivid, most joyful opening in the Private Blend collection. The heart deepens beautifully with African orange flower, neroli, jasmine, and pittosporum — the neroli at its centre giving the fragrance its name and its most distinctive, most luminous character: clean, slightly honeyed, and deeply beautiful.
